This online directory lists businesses certified by OMWBE. Businesses that appear in the directory are currently certified and approved to be utilized toward meeting established contract (federal and state) goals in their displayed certification type(s). Businesses that are noted as suspended cannot be utilized for-credit in new contracts until the suspension is removed. If you are seeking Veteran Owned Businesses (VOBs) to conduct additional outreach, please search for Washington Certified Veteran-Owned Businesses on Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS).
State Certified Businesses: select the certifications Combination Business Enterprise (CBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE), Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (SEDBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE). Businesses with any State Certification (MWBE, MBE, WBE, CBE, SEDBE) are also Public Works Small Business Enterprises (PWSBE).
Federally Certified Businesses: select either Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE). Businesses with Federal DBE Certification are also Small Business Enterprises (SBE).
Instructions for SBE and PWSBE Searches: These certifications are displayed differently and appear under “Additional Information” in every business profile. To search for SBE or PWSBE businesses, keep all certification types checked in the “Search by Certification Type” section, then scroll down to the “Search by Reference” section and select “Yes” in the drop down menu for either “SBE Certification” or “PWSBE Certification." SBE and PWSBE businesses searches must be conducted separately. Selecting “Yes” in both menus will display incomplete search results. Following these steps will ensure your search includes a complete list of minority- and women-owned businesses.
